I KNOW… I am very behind, but I have hope to pass the class. The site I am critiquing is: https://www.quotestags.com/quotes/latest

There are nine main pictures, 39 including the miniature ones at the bottom. They are all in JPEG format, and the size is approximately 500 pixels by 500 pixels. The images are used for social media sites as comments or uploads. The whole point of this site is to use their images, so we would not be able to navigate without the pictures. I’d say the use of these images are rather successful if we are interested in using any of the images for social networks such as Facebook, Instagram, etc.

  1. This site certainly IS very image dependent. I think it is interesting that even though it is impossible to “see” the text on the images while they are disabled, the tags for the images DO provide some insight into the context of the image. Certainly not perfect, but I think it is worth pointing out.

There are many sites that are similar to this such as https://imgfave.com and https://boldomatic.com – for instance. I would be curious to examine which of these sorts of sites hand;es images most effectively with regard to bandwidth and accessibility.
