Channel Awesome

The site I decided to take a look at for the assignment was Channel Awesome at https://channelawesome.com/. Counting ads and icons it’s around 108 images. The site can still be navigated with the images turned off using the links to the videos, but the reason that there are so many is because they are thumbnails for the videos on the front page. Those are there to draw people in and make them interested in watching the videos that have been posted. I believe it does a very good job of this because it makes the videos more interesting to check out rather than just having the title in text on the page. In total the images add up to around 2142 KB which for that many images isn’t bad at all. I wasn’t able to get more of the images in the screenshot but they are all the way down the page.
