R.A. Dillon and Kuba

My name is Robert Dillon. I am a returning student finishing up a BA in journalism. I spent the first 20 years of my career working as a photographer and reporter for newspapers, magazines, and radio in Alaska, Washington, D.C., Russia, China, and across Europe. My Alaska roots go back to 1976 when my family moved to Kenai. I’ve been luck enough to have lived across the state – Kotz to Unalaska, Fairbanks to Kenai – and visited most places in between. I now work in Washington, D.C., still doing communications but now on the other side of the microphone. My wife and I have a 5-year-old daughter, Anna. I use a lot of social media and graphic design in my daily work and am interested in strengthening my skills.
