For my site I used https://www.Latinwe.com I used Firefox for my browser and Firefox developer tools. There were 87 images, with the largest being PNG 290 kb. Total image size was 2423 kb.
The use a combination of PNG, JPEG and GIF types images. The images were ok.. But I guess they were appealing a younger audience. The site was top heavy in Pictures with very little content. I tried looking at it in my Android phone and found it be unnavigable. There was nothing to see without images.
You’re right that images play a key role on this site, and that there isn’t much to find at the site without them. I like that the primary menu (across the top of the page) is still available when images are turned off. Since this seems to be a talent agency, do you think the way they use head shots makes sense for this particular site?
