Tutorial: Creating a Button with Fireworks CS5

This tutorial walks through creating a simple shiny button using some of the vector tools in Fireworks CS5.

Once you have finished creating this button take some time to experiment with changing the layer opacity on the white gradient overlay layer. changing that can effect just how shiny you button looks. Experiment with the layer Blending Modes as well. Changing this from the default of “Normal” can sometimes yield interesting results.
